A $50 booking fee is required to reserve surgical consultation appointments, including new patient consultations and pre-surgery follow-ups. This fee secures your dedicated time with our surgical team and is non-refundable. The booking fee is a scheduling fee only — it is not a deposit toward your consultation or any procedure. The consultation itself is complimentary: the fee is not a charge for your visit. It exists to protect appointment availability and reduce no-shows, so every reserved time goes to a patient who attends.
The initial Weight Loss & Health Maintenance consultation is a full one-hour medical visit and carries a $250 consultation fee in place of the $50 booking fee. The fee is collected at booking, is non-refundable, and covers your one-hour evaluation. All confirmation, rescheduling, late-arrival, and missed-appointment terms on this page apply equally to this visit, with the $250 fee treated as the booking fee for those purposes.
Your appointment is confirmed at the time of booking. If you book an appointment that begins less than 48 hours from the time of booking, your selected time is placed on a temporary hold while our team verifies availability — we will text you, and replying YES confirms your time immediately. We understand plans change. You may reschedule your appointment once at no additional cost, provided you give us at least 24 hours’ notice before your scheduled time. Your booking fee transfers to the new appointment. A second reschedule, or any reschedule requested with less than 24 hours’ notice, requires a new booking fee.
Please arrive (or join your virtual visit) on time. We hold your appointment for 15 minutes past the scheduled start. After 15 minutes, the appointment is treated as a missed appointment and the booking fee is forfeited. We will always do our best to accommodate you if you contact us before your appointment time.
If you do not attend your appointment and have not rescheduled with the required notice, the booking fee is forfeited. A new booking fee is required to schedule another appointment.
Saturday consultations are offered by special arrangement only and cannot be booked online. Saturday visits carry a $600 consultation fee. To arrange a Saturday consultation, call or text 424-433-4607.
Virtual visits are held via FaceTime, WhatsApp, or Google Meet. The same confirmation, rescheduling, late-arrival, and missed-appointment terms apply.
