Dr. Moein's academic journey began at the prestigious UCLA, where he pursued a degree in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics graduating with Honors. His thirst for knowledge then led him to George Washington University Medical School in Washington DC, where he completed his medical education. This solid foundation in medical science laid the groundwork for his future achievements.
Following medical school, Dr. Moein embarked on a rigorous surgical residency in the Georgetown University General Surgery Program. It was during this time that he honed his surgical skills and developed a passion for minimally invasive surgery and bariatric surgery. After completing his residency, he achieved board certification in General Surgery, a testament to his expertise in the field.
